If you’ve never had a CryoFacial before, you might like to know what to expect before you arrive for your appointment.  When you get to the appointment we’ll ask you to fill in a simple medical questionnaire to make sure you don’t have a condition which could impact the treatment.

The treatment takes place in a private room where the portable Penguin Cryotherapy machine is located. Depending on whether just the face or the neck and chest are treated, you might need to remove your top (keeping your underwear on is fine).

You’ll lie down on your back, and a trained Cryo Beauty technician will administer the treatment directing the frozen air vapour all over your face, shoulders, neck, and chest.  You can keep your eyes open and have a chat during the treatment, or close your eyes and drift off!  If this is your first time, it might take a few seconds to get used to the sensation but apart from that, you won’t feel a thing.

If there are any specific areas you want to pay attention to, let your therapist know.  You can keep your makeup on during the treatment and this will be intact once the CryoFacial is over. Some people like to touch up after the treatment is complete but this is a personal preference. You’ll be fine to immediately return to your day, or go back to work.

If you're doing the complete CyoPlus Facial treatment we recommend not wearing makeup, (our technician will be able to remove it for you). Following your Cryotherapy your technician will place the Celluma LED therapy device over your face for a further 15min LED light therapy session to supercharge your collagen production and anti-ageing effects.

It’s recommended to allow 45 minutes for your first CryoFacial and 40 minutes for subsequent treatments.
